You can go two ways with peasant tops: something streamlined and simple, like this one…
…or you can go for something embroidered or patterned, like this winning blue and pink number.
I like the soft tones on this crepe top.
The touch of embroidery here is exactly right, as is the smocking at the neckline. Also, the pompom tassels are fun.
This looks a little like an Indian block print to me.
So romantic, and just a little sexy.
The rickrack trim here delights me.
A simple print on a well-priced choice.
The star embroidery here is just too good.
Very vacation-friendly.
Pristine white, with lovely lace details.
This is nice and graphic.
As crisp as a button-down, but far more alluring.
You’d need a cami for this floral top, but it is just so pretty, and I like the subtle green stitching details.
A very pretty dusty pink that is flattering on pretty much any skin tone.
This Nili Lotan top is marked down (although not available in every size), and I’m tempted, because the elastic waist means never having to tuck.
I am a fan of the deep neckline here.
I’m not supposed to be spending any money at the moment, but I want the first four in my closet like NOW. Can’t get away from my hippie days. Don’t even want to….

I was just thinking the same thing, cw…I’m trying to relive my sweet memories of youth spent braless in peasant tops. (And not fully appreciating the effect that had on boys!) I’d take all of them, but especially the cute blue one, the lacy number by Velvet and the drapey poetess by Splendid.

I wear a lot of peasant tops and I do really well at Lucky. Depends on the time of year, but they can have some good, well-priced tops.

I immediately went out this morning and bought the blue embroidered one (Velvet by Graham & Spencer), and I’m wearing it now!! 🙂
