Rag & Bone jacket—I bring you 11 spring jackets

God, am I happy spring is almost here in New York. I’m so tired of my parka—at the end of every winter I’m always just about ready to burn it—and yearn to go glove-and-hat-free as soon as nature will allow. What follows are some lovely, lighter-weight numbers that you could easily wear now layered and pretty soon all on their own. This collarless quilted jacket doesn’t come in the spring-iest of colors, but I think it’s super-chic.

Mango anorak—I bring you 11 spring jackets

And I believe this pullover anorak to be the cutest in pale pink.

Scotch & Soda army jacket–I bring you 11 spring jackets

A really good, nicely roomy army jacket (it comes in a fun leopard print, too).

Barbour jacket—I bring you 11 spring jackets

A super-thin Barbour jacket is the most excellent layer—try it under a leather jacket for kicks—and really quite stylish as well.

Mango military jacket—I bring you 11 spring jackets

The word for this is snappy.

Veronica Beard moto jacket—I bring you 11 spring jackets

I haven’t been so keen on moto jackets of late, but I think the color and cut here is outstanding.

Mango leather jacket—I bring you 11 spring jackets

A clean-lined leather jacket at a nice price.

Sanctuary safari jacket—I bring you 11 spring jackets

good choice for kicking around on weekends.

Acne bomber jacket—I bring you 11 spring jackets

Here’s a not-cheap but really quite excellent bomber.

Hudson jacket—I bring you 11 spring jackets

And here’s a thinner (and not quite so pricey, if still not cheap) bomber, in a grey that I absolutely love.

Levi's camo jacket—I bring you 11 spring jackets

And finally, from Levi’s: a work jacket with a classic camo print.

Wow, that top one looks identical to the button-in lining of my dad’s hunting jacket.

The Sanctuary one from Macy’s is a great compromise — little more structure, but still casual. and the pink anorak is total springtime. Thanks!
