I have really been trying not to shop lately, and mostly I’ve been pretty successful at this, except I had to go for this Officine Creative slingback because it is such an excellent boot/sandal hybrid.
I think I would get endless wear out of this embroidered dress—it just looks so comfortable, yet anything but frumpy.
This silk top has such a lovely, subtle print, and the colors are fantastic.
I am not afraid to wear shorts—though I do like them on the longer side, and I always wear them with shoes that have some height in order to impart the illusion of long legs. This pair from Vince is nicely tailored and pretty much perfect.
A red sandal is a fun touch this time of year, and these are from Everlane, so they don’t cost a fortune. They come in other, subtler colors too if that’s more your speed.
A lovely, feminine peasant blouse from Veronica Beard.
Nili Lotan is having a little bit of a sale, and this zebra-print top that I have wanted forever is marked down, and I don’t know how much longer I can hold out.
Love all of these choices! Especially the Officine Creative mules – I have a pair of grey suede booties and a pair of black mules. Very comfy and they look great.
You have excellent desires!
Since I had to unexpectedly replace my computer and my air conditioner compressor and change plane tickets and––jeez, the list is endless this very expensive month!––I’ve also put a temporary halt on purchases. However, there’s something about those paprika Everlane sandals……
Those Vince shorts….I had a pair of Vince shorts that I literally wore till they fell apart. I may have to replace them…
I want all of these!!!
Those shorts…and another daily vow to stop spending bites the dust…
It figures that the only time I ever want an Everlane thing, it’s sold out in my size! Waaaaaaaaah.
Kim, how are you able to even do this blog if you’re on a no-buy? Not that there’s anything wrong with that in the least, but it must be torture sometimes.
To tell you the truth, DeDe, I’m kind of enjoying it. I have so much STUFF.
