A few things I like from a few LA stores I like. First up, from Tortoise General Store, which is a kind of Japanese design-inspired spot for housewares and whatnots: this nifty yellow enamel kettle.
At Broken English, drool-worthy jeweler in Brentwood Country Mart: a delicate cuff with turquoise details that exceeds the GOACA price limit but felt too pretty to exclude.
And here’s a cuff at a nicer price from another place I loved—the nouvelle hippie boutique General Store in Venice.
That kettle comes in multiple colors on Amazon, I have it bookmarked!

I have that kettle in orange! I think I got it from Bird, actually (maybe 4-5 years ago?). It adds a lot of cheer to a cold winter kitchen.

Shahi makes a similar cuff that I’ve been wearing obsessively since Christmas. Bought my sister one as a gift, too.

There is also a General Store in San Francisco. Lovely things.

I’m a jewelry freak, so I am checking out the entire Broken English site. I love the Marianne Faithful song that I expect inspired the retailer’s name.
