Thursday trifecta: embroidered tops

And not just any embroidered tops, but embroidered tops with something unexpected going on in the way of pattern, and with a tight color palette, which you know is a thing with me.*  I lingered over but didn’t buy this one when I was at Mango the other day, and have been regretting it ever since.

A splurgy option from Suno with really exquisite handiwork.

Is deco ethnic a thing? Because that’s the vibe this top gives off to me.

*I know, I know. They’re all sleeveless. But that’s what cotton cardigans are for.

Kim, I’d love your thoughts on this fab printed blouse from Anthropologie: http://tinyurl.com/k6nh9nx

You have my permission to wear any of these. ; >

I’m looking for a plain cotton or linen top to embroider myself. As a change from embroidering wall art and pillowcases!

They are all so cute! I wish I could wear them.

Nice, but from the sizing, the companies don’t want my business. The $350 one is on size 0-6. I will cheerfully take my business elsewhere.

The deco ethnic one reminds me of deco era pjs. Which is a wonderful thing 🙂

I AM so board with these. I’ve been looking for just the thing.

The old hippie in me loves every single one of these! ( I have an entire Pinterest board devoted to my inner hippie.) And as a hippie, I would have said, “Hell, I’m not wearing a bra so why would I need a cardigan?!?”
